Sean Cummings, Executive Director As Executive Director of NOBC, Cummings led the City and the Port of New Orleans toward the creation of a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement, allowing for the ambitious development of the Riverfront. On behalf of NOBC, Cummings also recently signed a deal with New York-based Full Spectrum to redevelop the World Trade Center of New Orleans as a mixed-use project that will bring NOBC roughly $25 million for reinvestment in the Riverfront. In his private business, Cummings is President of ekistics Inc., a New Orleans-based real estate development firm that has created nationally recognized lofts and boutique hotels that infuse historic architecture with the city's unique culture. This year, ekistics will break ground on the city's first "green" multifamily building, with its National Rice Mill Lofts. He is a board member of the Neighborhood Development Foundation and sits on the advisory board for the Tulane University School of Architecture. Cummings graduated with a degree in Urban Studies and Economics from Brown University and studied at the London School of Economics.
